GLOCAL MA in Community Development
Rarely in life do you get a chance to save the world, but you can take the first step towards doing that by developing individual communities. The world is made up of hundreds of thousands of small communities. Many of them need help with some of the most basic necessities and by pushing for changes in one community, you can start a movement that makes the world a better place.
If you are an individual with both a global perspective and an appreciation for local solutions, join Glocal which offers a unique opportunity to gain development expertise and to play a meaningful role in advancing communities both in Israel and across the world. Not only will you learn the underlying theory of how to help develop communities, you will spend 4 months in a hands-on, full-time internship working with a local or international development organization. Internship specializations include agriculture, public health, education, and advocacy.
Alumni of the Glocal M.A. program go on to work at organizations such as OxFam, Doctors without Borders, Save a Child's Heart, while others have set out to save the world by starting their own projects.
